My name is Maria Jose, but you can call me Majo. I'm 31 years old . I'm from Ecuador, but I live in NYC. Love made me move in 2021 ;) When I lived in Ecuador, I worked in public relations.

Now I'm a wife and mother to a sweet 3-year-old daughter❤️❤️. As a result of experiencing motherhood, I rethought many things, one of them being my goals as a woman and professional.

I'll share a little bit about my thoughts after experiencing this important stage for me.

 

So Maja was born from the search and reunion of the woman that I have always carried within me but who for a few years was a little lost on the path of growth.

After becoming a mom in 2022, my way of thinking automatically changed in many ways. It makes you more sensitive, careful, stronger, but above all, it makes you invincible. In my case, becoming a mom transformed me.

But I didn't just become a mother, I found myself again. Motherhood has made me not forget that I am a woman too, a woman with aspirations, dreams and goals.

I think that many women want and seek to be free, independent, owners of their time, space, they want to do, say, dress, in general... they want to express what they feel with confidence and happiness.

So Maja is a life project that was born with the purpose of reminding each one of us of the value of being a woman and the power we have over ourselves to be able to feel good, beautiful, happy and comfortable with what we decide. It was born from the love and admiration for jewelry, for the ability they have to raise your confidence with their color and shape, it was born with the purpose of creating pieces that make you feel unique and beautiful, that give you an extra shine wherever you go.
